T RM COLLABORATION WITH CUSTOM KNIFEMAKER MIKE IRIE

We are excited to share the news of our upcoming Atom and Neutron releases. TRM has teamed up with Mike Irie to bring you some very special knives. Imagine- two favorite TRM folders paired with Mike Irie's custom hollow grinding. All knives will be dressed in 3D contoured lizard skin titanium and a variety of carbon fiber options to make them all very classy. Over the years, many folks have requested hollow ground blades . Once again, we listen. TRM is doing something we have never done before thanks to this talented custom knifemaker.

Mike Irie resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado and has been a full-time custom knifemaker since 1991. Mike worked side-by-side with Barry Wood, his late father-in-law, developing Wood, Irie and Co. With decades of experience, Mike doesn't need a website to sell his custom work. Just "Google" Mike Irie and beautiful folders and fixed blades will pop up instantly.

Les and Marianne Halpern, owners of TRM, have known Mike for 20 years since his first purchase of knife-making supplies from Halpern Titanium. Last year at Blade Show Atlanta, Les and Mike came up with a great idea. Mike offered to hollow grind some TRM blades.

Since then there has been much behind-the-scenes work to do. There are never enough hours in the knife-making world! Projects like this must take time to move from conception to reality. The time is ALMOST now!
